Nanya, Winbond and Macronix are the specialty memory makers in the Q3 2026 earnings roundup, and all three grew again on the quarter. Nanya makes DRAM, Winbond sells DRAM and flash, and Macronix sells NOR flash, ROM and NAND. Against a year earlier their revenue rose between 195% and 611.7%, and Nanya kept 80.0% of its sales as operating profit. This page sets the three side by side. The Earnings Desk holds the other quarters, and the larger memory makers have a page of their own.

Findings

Nanya reports net sales of NT$133,649 million, up 61.9% from the second quarter. Winbond’s revenue was NT$82.331 billion, up 37.6% on the quarter by my arithmetic from the NT$59.843 billion in its second-quarter release. Macronix’s net sales came to NT$24,237 million, up 27%.

Against a year earlier the rises are much larger. Each release prints the change: Nanya’s net sales grew 611.7%, Winbond’s revenue 278.2% and Macronix’s net sales 195%.

Two of the three report an operating margin. Nanya’s was 80.0%, up from 73.7% in the second quarter. Macronix’s was 53.4%, up from 46.9% in the second quarter. Winbond’s release gives no operating income, so the desk tracks its revenue only and the margin comparison leaves it out.

My reading is that at Nanya and Macronix the year-earlier growth is so large partly because the starting point was so low. A year ago Nanya’s operating margin was 6.0% by my arithmetic from its third-quarter 2025 income statement, and Macronix made an operating loss equal to 13.9% of its sales. Winbond’s year-ago margin is not on the desk, so the same can’t be said of it. The fourth-quarter results will show whether the three keep growing on the quarter from this much higher base.

Company-reported results, explained. Each company reports on its own fiscal calendar and in its own currency; the Period column says which quarter each row is. Not investment advice.
