Webster’s Corner

A reference desk for memory and storage engineers. The specs, standards, die papers, controller notes and talks are filed in numbered zones from the dies up, with flash and SSDs beside DRAM and HBM and the current spec at the top of each list. Every row links its own source.

How to read it

The desk holds 273 spec documents in 177 families, 476 papers and preprints (93 of them die papers), 35 talks and white papers and 28 controller notes, filed in 8 zones from the cells and dies up to what comes next. Each zone sets flash and SSDs beside DRAM and HBM. A spec family is one document across its revisions, so the newest revision leads its row and the earlier ones fold under it, and the standards timeline has their dated history.

Pick a kind of entry or a standards body to see only those rows across every zone, or search for a document number or a word. Nothing here is copied, and a row with a short note carries Sean’s take. The newest entry is from November 2026.
